A shimmering (and flattering) jewel of a dress! I believe it is late 1950s or early 60s. The bodice is fitted with darting, and has a boat neckline in front that tapers to a gentle vee in back - sleeveless with a slight cap at the shoulders. The bodice is set into a 2.5" wide waistband, which is accented by a flat self-fabric bow on the right. The straight skirt is fitted with vertical darting, camouflaged in front by a faux wrapped peplum, which seems sarong inspired to me. There is a 2" vertical slit in the center back hem for ease when walking.
SIZE: No size label, but I would call this as a Extra Small. As you can see in the photo of the back of the dress, it would not zip closed on Josephine.
