This vintage late 1950s to early 1960s outfit is a killer combination – a sexy flirty party dress that can be toned down by adding the short topper! The bodice is styled with a squared neckline and fitted with diagonal darts that meet at the center waist. The flippy full skirt is attached at the waist with tiny soft pleats. The fitted collarless cropped jacket has elbow length dolman sleeves with underarm gussets for ease of movement.
SIZE: No size label in the dress or bolero. The back of the belt is stamped 10, but of course vintage sizes run smaller, so please consider the measurements. Measurements on the bolero were taken with the front edges approximated.

FABRIC/COLORS: :All fabrics are inky black. The dress bodice and bolero are done in medium weight brocade with a rather boldly graphic design of what looks like daisies (all black of course). The skirt has an underlayer of taffeta acetate, and outer layer of chiffon.
TAG: L'Aiglon.
CLOSURES: The dress closes with a long nylon zipper in back. It has a self fabric brocade belt at the waist. The bolero is designed to be slightly open, so no closures except for a hook with thread eye at the neck.
CONDITION: There is a subtle lightening to the raised part of the woven flowers along the edges of the underarm – I couldn’t even get it to show up in a photo. No other issues noted, no stains, holes or tears.
